Be weather-ready at Capital EX and Honda Indy Edmonton

EDMONTON, AB – Northlands would like to remind guests attending both Capital EX and the Honda Indy Edmonton to prepare for the warm temperatures expected the rest of this weekend. Guests are encouraged to pack sunscreen and prescribed medications as well as wear loose clothing and hats. Above all else, guests should stay hydrated and eat regularly.

On-site at Capital EX, there is a misting station in Family Fun Town Farm. Shade can also be found in a number of areas including the Edmonton EXPO Centre, East Plaza Patio, Chilkoot Park and Bonanza Park. Beat the heat and take in the entertainment indoors with President’s Choice SuperDogs, Family Fun Town, Kiyânâw, Northwest Originals and Shop Zone.

At the Honda Indy Edmonton, there are refresh zones and misting stations as well.

Guests can bring their own sealed water bottles to both events. Northlands has medical personnel on-site at both locations, should guests require attention.
