Our goal is to create a summer fun celebration to be enjoyed by all.
Northlands will work with the City of Edmonton to ensure Northlands follows all City bylaws to manage noise, parking, litter and security issues.

Q: Who do I call if I see unauthorized parking in my neighbourhood?
Although Northlands is working with Parking Enforcement bylaw officers to make sure parking laws are followed in surrounding communities, if you see any unauthorized parking in your neighbourhood, please contact the City of Edmonton.
Public Parking is available at the following locations:
•East Parking Lot* (enter at 116 Avenue and Wayne Gretzky Drive)
•Borden Park East and West Lots and as well as South Spectrum Lot* (enter at 112 Avenue and 73 or 79 Street)
•Rexall Place Lot* (enter at 119 Avenue and Wayne Gretzky Drive)*indicates lots with handicapped parking available
Q. What other entrances besides the one on Gretzky Drive can I use to access the Capital EX grounds?
Gate entrances have been centralized to ensure public safety and reduce traffic congestion on Wayne Gretzky Drive. Other gate entrances include:
•Pedway Gate (LRT pedway over 118th Avenue)
•118th Avenue Gate (on the south side of 118th Avenue)
•South Northlands Park gate
•East 116th Ave Gate (off of the 116 Avenue entry)
Q: Will Northlands be sending out crews to pick up litter and recyclables in surrounding neighbourhoods?
Northlands sends out cleaning crews to surrounding communities to deal with garbage and recyclables left behind by our guests. If you have any concerns, please contact us at info@northlands.com or 780.471.7210.
Q. Where do all the recyclables go during Capital EX?
The EnCanna Green Team, a dedicated crew from St. Matthew Lutheran Schools are engaged as a fundraising initiative to clean and collect onsite litter and recyclables.
Q. Who do I call about a security concern in my neighbourhood during Capital EX?
Northlands is committed to ensuring a safe and secure event and will work with law enforcement authorities to address security issues both on site and within the community. If you have any security concerns or wish to report a specific incident, contact Northlands Security at 780.471.7171 for all incidents on Northlands property or the Edmonton Police Service at 780.423.4567 for incidents in your community.
Q. I have a question about the noise coming from the Capital EX grounds. Who do I contact?
Northlands monitors sound during Capital EX and works with the City of Edmonton should any issues arise. If you have any concerns during the event, please contact Community Relations at 780.491.3401.
