Northlands has been proud to partner with the Edmonton Journal and Global Edmonton on Name Your Fair contest!

The votes are in…the new name of your Fair is

K-Days!

With a total of 51, 160 votes received over the past 18 days, K-Days received 38,762. We asked you what you wanted to call the Fair and you told us loud and clear!

Thank you to our community members and Fair fans that took the time to either submit a suggestion or to vote for their favourite name. From over 2,000 submissions to over 50,000 votes, the community passion and support has been overwhelming.

Congratulations to all of our finalists who submitted our final six names. We were very fortunate to have had such a dedicated and passionate group of individuals to work with. Thank you for all of your time, Cynthia, Jon, Donna, Chad, Ryan and Joe!

The team at Northlands will be putting their brains together to begin to build a platform and program for K-Days and its future. We are excited about the opportunities the new name brings to the Fair.

So please give us a bit of time as we dive into this and stay tuned for the next announcement in the fall, which will be the unveiling of the new logo and next year’s theme.
