It’s Up to You Edmonton…NAME YOUR FAIR!

EDMONTON, AB – In partnership with the Edmonton Journal and Global Edmonton, Northlands is launching the Name Your Fair contest tomorrow! Beginning Thursday, June 7 at 5:30 a.m., Edmontonians will have their chance to tell Northlands what they think the future name should be for Edmonton’s biggest summer Fair (currently known as Capital EX).

2013 is going to be an exciting year…with a new brand for the Fair including a new name and theme.
So…it’s now up to the community to tell us what the name for Edmonton’s summer fair should be.

PLEASE NOTE the deadline for submissions is Friday, June 29 at 11:59 p.m.

How to Submit Suggestions
Submissions for the new name will be accepted online starting Thursday, June 7 at 5:30 a.m. Visit www.capitalex.ca and click on Name Your Fair to submit your ideas.

How to Vote
After the submissions close on Friday, June 29 at 11:59 p.m., a selection group, made up of representatives from each of the contest partners, will review all suggestions and choose the top six finalists for voting.
1. Online – Go to www.capitalex.ca and click on Name Your Fair to vote online between Tuesday, July 10 at 10:30 a.m. and Saturday, July 28 at 6 p.m.
2. Onsite at Capital EX – From Friday, July 20th at 12 p.m. until Saturday, July 28 at 6 p.m. Specific location to be determined.
