You can choose from over 45 rides and 30 games to challenge your courage and your skills. Capital EX fan favourites include the Bonsai, Ring of Fire, Mega Drop and the Zipper.

Families can take pleasure in the relaxed area dedicated for children as they enjoy the games and rides suited for their amusement in the kids midway.

New to Capital EX

NITRO
Calling all thrill seekers! Have the chance to be one of the first to ride Capital EX’s new exhilarating roller coaster: The Nitro. The 335-metre track will take thrill riders of young and young at heart through mind-bending twists, hairpin turns and steep drops as you dip and dive through the exhilarating ride of almost 120 seconds. The massive blue and green roller-coaster navigates riders through a series of hills with state-of-the-art safety features. The Nitro is a spectacular and spine-tingling addition to Capital EX’s premier lineup of rides and attractions for 2012!

After submitting entries to the ‘Name the New Coaster’ contest, Ottawa, Ontario’s Naomi Linstein’s winning name ‘Nitro’ is now up in lights on the new roller-coaster. For naming the Nitro, Naomi could choose one of three destination to celebrate the Nitro’s inaugural year and she chose Edmonton’s own Capital EX! Welcome to Capital EX Naomi!

The TOP COP police academy is in town and they are recruiting audience members for the chance to join them on stage! The interactive show begins with recruitment from the crowd where you will have the chance to perform exercises such as push-ups and jumping-jacks with members of the TOP COP police academy team. As audience members are eliminated, the stage is set for the TOP COP team. Watch as one of these talented performers must accept the challenge of a very dangerous feat…to jump from a height of 25 metres into a pool that’s only three meters deep! The TOP COP police academy is a unique performance the public is sure to enjoy!
